PositionED for Pre-K

Grant-funded quality improvement support for eligible Baltimore City programs.

Current Cohort Full

PositionED supports eligible Baltimore City family child care and center-based owners wherever they currently are in their quality journey.

  • Support across different Maryland EXCELS levels

  • Guidance for programs preparing to expand
  • Two-hour monthly in-person group meeting
  • Individual work guided by your program goals

Pre-K Grantee Support

Ongoing implementation support for programs with a Pre-K Expansion Grant.

$1,500 / month

Already have a Pre-K Expansion Grant? We support programs throughout their grant year whether The Academy Builders helped secure the grant or you found us afterward.

MMATH

Monthly Make and Take Hour

$2,500 or $4,000 total

A six-month paid support option for owners seeking guidance with quality improvement and Pre-K preparation who are outside Baltimore City or did not enter PositionED.

  • Six-month engagement
  • Quality improvement guidance
  • Pre-K preparation support
  • Second hour of the monthly in-person meeting
  • Scope determines the $2,500 or $4,000 total fee
  • Some engagements include accreditation support
